Seize The Day

I haven’t Tumbled much lately. I guess I havent really had anything to write on here. But I do tonight.

Last November was a really bad month for me. My Grandma passed suddenly on November 10 at the age of 77. She was 100% healthy and I had talked to her the day before. She passed peacefully in her sleep. I do have my suspicions on what really happened because I do think that foul play was involved. It’s just that gut wrenching feeling that I wish I didn’t have but I do. I also have my opinions on who did it. But for moral reasons I’m not going to say. Regardless, her life ended too early and she was an elderly woman! She could have had many years to come.

More shockingly, exactly a week later I got the call about a dear friend on mine who had died in a car accident. She was with 3 other people and she died on impact as they hit a tree in the car that she was driving. November 17, a month before her 18th birthday, God claimed another angel. Kendall died in an accident which could have been prevented. She was driving under the influence. The girl in the passenger seat is paralyzed from the neck down and now in a wheel chair for life.

Kendall was a mother goose. While being the Queen at the same time. She was walking royalty. The closest to royalty I know that I will ever get. Any time you were upset, she’d say “ok, who do I need to beat up?” and alwaysss signed yearbooks with <3 forever- The bitch. Which she was far from. I roomed with her in NYC my senior year. She had so many clothes. We were only going to be there for a few days. She had a hair appointment on 5th Ave and bought so many clothes and such, she had to ship home. It was unbelievable. Shopping with her, I felt like I was on a reality tv show. She was crazy! But I loved every second of it.

2 people closest to me have passed away. Almost 7 months has gone by and I haven’t been able to tell either that I love them or any new gossip about my life.

The reason I’m blogging now is because of 2 reasons. 1, the link to the funeral is available to watch online, and since I was unable to be there it was the next best thing. and 2, Kendall’s Celtics are playing and Gram (and I) hated the Heat and all 3 of us would want Boston to win.

It’s just times like these that I urge everyone to never take life for granted. To never go to bed angry. Always say I love you. Treat every day like it’s your last. Seize the day.
